Server Requirements

A basic eMedia installation to handle up tp 100K assets and 1000 users will require a minimum requirement of:

• 8GB RAM
• 2.30GHz+ 4 Core CPU
• 200GB Space on hard drive for eMedia installation and Data Base
• 200GB Space for data storage*

For an advanced setup and optimal video handling we recommend more RAM and CPU power, also it is recommended to use SSD Drives for the eMedia installations and the Data Base. 

Our proffered eMedia installation runs inside a Docker container that is build periodically based on a custom Ubuntu image. 

*Data storage will be always relative to the size of your assets and this could be handled in an external source as a NAS mount point or attached Volumes.
