Asset Approval Workflow

eMedia includes a flexible Pending / Approve / Reject mechanism for asset review and approval. This system can be adapted and customized to fit different organizational workflows.

In System → Site Permissions, the Show Pending Assets permission can be assigned to any Role.
By default, any asset uploaded to eMedia is given an Edit Status of Pending. This means the asset will remain hidden from other users until it has been approved by an Administrator or by any user with the appropriate permission enabled.

In Settings → Site Permissions, you can also enable the Approve/Reject Workflow permission.
This adds tools that make it easier to manage asset approvals:

• Users with this permission can select multiple assets and approve or reject them in bulk in the Edit menu.

• They will also see an Approve/Reject button in the Asset Media Viewer area, allowing them to quickly change the asset’s Edit Status.
